Comet Neowise And Meteorite by Dale Kauzlaric -- I went out at sunset to see the Comet Neowise. I went to Gilbert Park on the north side of Wausau in Marathon County, Wisconsin. I went to this park because it was along the Wisconsin River. I knew it was in the northwest sky by the Big Dipper. I got setup an hour after sunset and found it with my first photo, it showed up nicely. The comet was reflecting in the water with the calm conditions. After I shoot my third image, a big meteorite exploded to the right of the comet like fireworks. I was really disappointed I was in between shots. But then, I caught another meteorite in am image. -- dalekphotography.com
