Wausau's Downtown Umbrellas -- A developer in Wausau, Wisconsin, saw a photo of a town in Portugal that had a display of umbrellas for an art festival. He thought of doing the same thing in the City of Wausau's downtown area. Nearly 300 umbrellas were hung from 8 strands of wire over 3rd Street for the fall of 2016. Tentative plans for the Spring of 2017 are to hang the umbrellas again over Wausau's 300 block. -- dalekphotography.com
