Four Spotted Skimmer Dragonfly BW by Dale Kauzlaric -- This four spotted skimmer dragonfly was cooperative and sat on this twig near a pond in Marathon County, Wisconsin. Dragonflies were numerous, as they were just hatching. The four spotted skimmer is often seen perched vertically on twigs and branches near ponds, wetlands and slow streams.
